What is Cachly?

Cachly is a full-featured geocaching client built on top of the official Geocaching.com (Groundspeak) service. It’s designed around an offline-first philosophy: you can download caches, maps and photos ahead of time and find caches with no cell signal, then sync your logs when you’re back online.

Beyond the basics, Cachly offers advanced tools that experienced cachers rely on — coordinate projection, multi-user logging, highlights, filter and text templates, GPX import/export, pocket queries, and deep offline vector maps.

Supported platforms

PlatformWhat you get
iPhoneThe full experience — the primary Cachly app.
iPadAdaptive split-view layout that makes use of the larger screen. See iPad.
Apple WatchNearby caches, compass navigation and quick logging on your wrist. See Apple Watch.
CarPlay PROBrowse and navigate to caches from your car’s display. See CarPlay.

Free vs. Cachly Pro

Cachly is fully usable for everyday geocaching without a subscription. Cachly Pro unlocks premium capabilities such as offline vector maps, DeLorme maps, county tools and advanced live-map features. Learn what’s included on the Cachly Pro page.

Some features also depend on your geocaching.com membership level (basic vs. premium), which is separate from Cachly Pro. See Accounts & Sign In for the distinction.
