What’s New in 8.x

Highlights of the Cachly 8.x release line. Many of the headline additions are part of Cachly Pro.

Cachly Pro (8.0+)

Version 8.0 introduced Cachly Pro, a premium subscription. Its features rolled out across 8.x:

Pro Offline Maps — worldwide OpenStreetMap vector maps with contours, trails and offline search.
Counties / Regions and DeLorme Grid — visual found/not-found tracking by region.
Auto Load Map — caches load as you pan the live map (long-press the reload icon, or enable in Settings › Cachly Pro).
CarPlay — added in 8.1. See CarPlay.
Multiple User Logging — added in 8.2 (log under several accounts at once).

Online Drafts — view, edit and submit drafts in-app; they sync to geocaching.com and across devices.
Rebuilt coordinate picker — five input formats (DDM, DD, DMS, the classic wheel picker and a Plain Text paste field), an “Updated” badge and one-tap Reset.
Sync Live & Offline Map Position — keep the live map and an offline list’s map at the same place and zoom.
Highlights in GPX — your highlight colors now round-trip through GPX import and export, and GPX import is much faster.
Wherigo download — download a cartridge from a Wherigo cache via the ⋯ button (needs the Wherigo app installed).
Account deletion, three coordinate copy formats, a larger profile with find count, and a built-in “What’s New” feed.

Maps: toggle trail colors/symbols, share cache location, better place search, Mapy.cz navigation, searchable state/country picker, more proximity-alert sounds, long-press the funnel to toggle filtering, adjustable live-search radius, Adventure Lab owned/found icons, indicator for ignored corrected coordinates, a cancel option on reload.
Logs: favorite-heart indicator in My Logs, cache-type icon in place of the avatar, “Great story”/“Helpful” shown on your own logs, military-time date keywords, trackable-log keyword support.
Offline lists: county-based filtering, pre-populated county lists, the Generate Counties tool (Pro), and removing caches across multiple lists.
Importing: Dropbox/Google Drive via the Files app, append-to-personal-note option, Groundspeak personal-note support.
Apple Watch: strike-through for archived/disabled caches and infographic complications.

Cachly Pro is separate from a geocaching.com Premium membership and doesn’t change cache-type access or daily cache limits. See the Cachly Pro page.
