What is Cachly Pro?

Cachly Pro is an optional in-app subscription, introduced in Cachly 8.0, that unlocks Cachly’s premium capabilities. Everyday geocaching — searching, mapping, logging, offline lists, trackables, Apple Watch — is fully included in the $4.99 app and works without a subscription. Pro adds power-user and offline tooling on top.

What does Cachly Pro cost?

Cachly Pro costs $1.99 per month or $14.99 per year (US pricing — about 37% cheaper than monthly). Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and subscriptions support Family Sharing. If you only want offline maps, there is a separate Offline Maps only plan at $4.99 per year.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions, where you can change plans or cancel anytime. Local prices for your region are shown on the More › Cachly Pro screen in the app.

What’s included in Cachly Pro?

• Pro Offline Maps — beautiful OpenStreetMap-sourced vector maps of the entire globe, with contour lines, hillshading, trails, points of interest, county/state boundaries, 3D buildings, and offline search.
• CarPlay — the full map (including offline maps) on your car’s dashboard, with cache lists, navigation, and voice-activated logging.
• Live cache loading — caches load automatically as you pan the live map.
• Counties & Regions — visually track your finds across counties and regions in the US, UK, Germany, Austria, France, and Australia.
• DeLorme Grid — track found/unfound caches by DeLorme grid page across US states and select Canadian regions.
• OSM POI Search — search OpenStreetMap points of interest directly on the map.

Cachly Pro vs. Geocaching Premium: what’s the difference?

They are different things from different companies, and neither replaces the other. Cachly Pro (from Zed Said Studio) adds features inside the Cachly app. Geocaching Premium (from Geocaching HQ / Groundspeak) upgrades your geocaching.com account itself — more cache types, higher daily cache limits, and Pocket Queries — in every app you use, including Cachly.

Why can I only load 3 caches a day? (It’s not Cachly Pro)

If Cachly will only show full details for 3 caches per 24 hours, your geocaching.com account is a free Basic membership. That limit is set by Geocaching HQ and applies in every geocaching app, including the official Geocaching® app. It is not a Cachly limitation, and buying Cachly Pro does not change it — Cachly Pro adds app features, not geocaching.com data access. To remove the Basic-account limits (all cache types and unlimited full cache details), you need a Geocaching Premium membership from Geocaching HQ. Is Cachly Pro worth it?
